August 4 – 14th

Hello Campers!

Our final week of swimming lessons was completed last week for a grand total of 118 swimming lessons taught!  It was a bit of a cool finish but they got across the finish line.  High praise was sloshed around for swimmers, swim instructors and swim instructor helpers!

Clean up from EmFest took us a week to get everything put away/set back to rights, including making another ice cream order as we served so many scoops during the festival.

We had a bit of a downpour this week and we have been cleaning up trees, branches and grating roads. 

Earl finished his stairs at the main store, making an easier way to get up that incline for all ages and a more welcome entrance to the shop.  Thank you Earl!

We are well underway on our accessible shower room, at the beach concession.  This renovation is sponsored by Affinity Credit Union and the proceeds from EmFest 2025.  This coin shower will give an accessible shower as well as a gender neutral shower option for patrons.  Thank you Affinity for supporting this!

Our RO system was down for a bit during EmFest, we have all the filters and membranes changed now ant it is running smoothly again. 

Our recycling got taken in to Spiritwood this week and we picked up the supplies for our first outhouse rebuild of the year.  Work will begin next week on demolition.  Spiritwood Sarcan reminds us that anti-freeze containers go in the blue bin and not in the bottle depot.  Only food/drink containers can be sent to Sarcan.

We are baking lots of cookies this week so we can have more ice cream sandwiches on offer soon!

The park continues to see lots of campers come rain or shine and we are happy to have them!
