Our resort community offers a welcoming and safe buoyed swimming area, perfect for families to enjoy together. With a sandy lake bottom that gently slopes into the water, you can wade in with ease—ideal for all ages and free from sudden drop-offs.

Take advantage of our diving platform for an exhilarating plunge or relax on the floating dock. While there is no lifeguard on duty, we encourage everyone to swim at their own risk and embrace the spirit of adventure.

The swimming area has a public dock for one-hour boat mooring (parking).  So stop at the beach and come up for a snack!

Convenient Boat Launch for Adventure Seekers!

Our developed boat launch features a cement ramp for easy access to the lake and a dedicated boat trailer parking lot for day campers. Enjoy fishing from the dock and utilize the fish cleaning shack to prepare your catch. Experience hassle-free fun on the water!

Note: this is also our unfenced off-leash area for visitors with dogs.

Main Store at Emerald: Your One-Stop Shop!

At the main gate, our fully stocked store has everything you need for a perfect getaway! Discover a delightful selection of candy, sodas, ice cream treats, popsicles, and snacks, along with quirky clothing and essential camping gear. Whether you need firewood, gas, hats, sunglasses, toys, or trinkets, if you forgot it—we've got it! Plus, don’t forget that water and ice are available at the beach concession to keep you refreshed during your stay.

Located by the camp kitchen, our newly renovated multi-purpose sports court is perfect for basketball, pickleball, and a variety of other activities. We offer a range of sports equipment for park patrons to use, so be sure to ask for more information at one of our concession stands. Get ready to have fun and stay active during your visit!

Challenge Your Friends at the Horseshoe Pit!

Test your aim and showcase your skills at our horseshoe pit, conveniently located by the camp kitchen. Horseshoes can be signed out at the main office, making it easy to get in on the fun. Perfect for all ages, horseshoes is an enjoyable activity that everyone can participate in—so gather your friends and family for a great time!

Spike It at Our Volleyball Court!

Gather your friends and enjoy a game on our sandy volleyball court! With soft sand underfoot, it’s the perfect place to have a blast while staying active. Volleyballs are available for sign-out at the main office, so come join the fun and make unforgettable memories!

Emerald Lake features three exciting playgrounds conveniently located near the beach and campsites, providing the perfect spot for children to play and explore. One playground boasts a big swingset, while each area offers unique play equipment and plenty of room to run around. Winding through stunning aspen parkland, the Emerald Expedition hiking trail invites the entire family to connect with nature. Starting near the main store, this 3 km trail features educational opportunities, scenic rest points, and beautiful views along the way. Experience an exciting and challenging round of golf at our Emerald Lake golf course. Featuring nine holes with artificial greens, rolling hills, and natural water features, it’s a perfect blend of beauty and challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Tee Times

Our golf course operates on a walk-on basis, so no tee times are necessary. We kindly ask all golfers to sign in before starting their round. This helps us track the number of rounds played, allowing us to allocate appropriate resources and apply for grants. Campsites at Emerald Lake: Your Home Away from Home!

Our campground features 20 full-service sites and 14 electrical sites with 30-amp service and potable water, ensuring a comfortable stay for all our guests. For those seeking a more rustic experience, we also offer seven water-only camping sites that boast beautiful lake views. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and a barbecue pit, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors and creating cherished memories with family and friends. The Loon's Nest: Your Home Away from Home!

If camping isn’t your style, the Loon’s Nest offers a charming alternative with its two-bedroom, fully renovated cabin for rent. This spacious retreat comfortably sleeps seven, featuring one bedroom with two bunk beds (a double bed on the bottom and a single on top) and another with a cozy queen-sized bed.

The cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, a modern washroom, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning for your convenience. Enjoy stunning views of the golf course from your yard, complete with a fire pit, BBQ, and picnic table, perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars.
