Welcome Back!
This week we prepped all the things so we were ready for our opening weekend. A few things to note:
The RM of Leask has asked us to pass along some details:
Golf Carts: you must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart, this includes in the park and on RM roads under 50km/hour. Golf carts are not allowed on roads rated for 50km/hr +. Golf carts must be insured, check with your package policy that they are covered or purchase alternative coverage. They must have a ‘slow moving vehicle’ sign on the back that is clearly visible (cannot be covered by golf clubs). Violations will be ticketed by the RM
Pets: All pets must be leashed at all times. This includes cats and dogs. Violations will face fines.

In park news:
The main store is up and running! During the week we have ‘call for assistance’ access and Friday – Saturday the main store will be open from 9am – 9pm, Sunday 9am-5pm
If there is no one in the office please call for assistance, we are always close by and would be happy to assist you with golf and candy needs!
The Eats’n Treats (beach concession) will open the weekend before school lets out (June 27th) but we will have some ice cream at the main store (pre-scooped) as well as packaged frozen treats.
If you need an RO water refill, please come to the main store and we will take your containers to be filled (as time allows).
Park well water is now potable (chlorinated) and can be used for drinking water. The wells were all shocked and are ready to go for the season.
We continue to make repairs to our picnic tables, and have scheduled painting for all of the park benches (as weather permits)
We have placed our first ice cream order and candy orders and have been stocking shelves in the main store. We have basic grocery items including milk and condiments. We also have a small section of first aid items including Imodium, Advil, Reactin etc.
We have new golf cart rental agreements that include a walk around of the cart prior to and post rental. This will help ensure the safety and upkeep of the rental carts. Rental carts continue to be in high demand and are for use on the golf course only.
We have a private booking at the camp kitchen on May 24th from 1pm – 10pm. Please be patient as there will be a few cars on site for the occasion!
So much shopping, cleaning and mending has been happening all over the park and in the city. You may see us out and about and we love to stop and hear about your winter! We are glad to have so many of you back already. Please remember to stop at the office and pick up your park pass and get your gate card reactivated for the season!
