Garbage must be maintained inside a bear proof container. Please deposit bags of garbage and loose recycling into the apropriate container at the main entrance to the park. These are emptied on Fridays. Loose garbage may be placed in the green bear proof garbage bins at the main store and beach.
The burn pile opens May 15th, 2024. The key can be signed out from the main store. Please do not throw any bags or containers into the burn pile. This pile is reduced to ash throughout the summer on calm days.
To be added to the waitlist for a compound parking site please contact Secretary/Treasurer. These are rented each year with a fee and are intended for cabin owners and seasonal site holders.
Please contact the Secretary/ Treasurer for all tree removal inquires. Dead trees are usually the responsability of the park (with some exceptions). Living tree removal needs to be aproved by the board, applications for tree removal may be emailed to the Secretary/ Treasurer.
Seasonal fees are due April 15th.Cabin fees are due in June. All fees should be paid to the Secretary/Treasurer by e-transfer or cheque payable to Emerald lake Regional Park.
Gate cards are available for purchase from the main store. All gate cards must have a season pass linked to them. Gate cards cannot be used to let other vehicles into the park, guests are required to purchase day passes or season passes for park access. If your gate card is not working please stop by the store and we will be happy to look into it.
Water will be chlorinated and potable from May 15th- September 15th, weather dependant. Well shocking will happen sometime in the first two weeks of May, and the water will be turned off for 24 hours. Further notice will be given via the email newsletter and social media. When the wells are shocked you may notice an increase of chlorine coming through the system. This is expected and should disipate in a matter of hours. While the system is chlorinated and potable, water samples are tested daily to ensure the correct chlorine levels are present. Should there ever be a boil water advisory or other complication you will be notified by email newsletter and social media. If you can not be contacted by these methods please stop at the office and talk to the park manager.
All golf carts must be licensed within the park. If you are transferring or selling your golf cart please come to the main store to update your registration. All golf carts driven after 11pm must have mounted headlights.
All construction requires a building permit. Please contact the secretary/treasurer well in advance of your project.
